A New Way to Juice Citrus Fruit!
Okay, it’s probably not a new way. Probably people have been doing this for thousands of years. But I didn’t know about it. And now I do! And you do, too!
All you do is cut the orange (or lemon, or lime) in half and squeeze it between the handles of a pair of tongs. Facing down, for heaven’s sake. It works more quickly than a fork, you don’t get juice all over your hands (some of us have sensitive skin, okay?) and no special equipment needed.
I learned this from watching Iron Chef America, by the way. The challenger was squeezing lemons this way. Don’t say that I or the Food Network never gave you anything!
I’d also like to take this opportunity to introduce my new camera. Doesn’t she shoot pretty? It’s a Canon Rebel xsi. To a true camera buff, this camera would be nothing, but for me, it opens up a whole new beautiful world of photography. Love it.
